IDF SOLDIERS STILL WITHOUT BODY ARMOR
Two sons of Cantor Mayer, who serve in the IDF, are asking for your financial support to purchase Ceramic Body Armor Vests for their fellow soldiers in 2 specific battalions. (see below) There is a bottleneck in the distribution of military vests that have been donated to Israel. They have been delayed for inspection and have yet to reach their intended recipients.
YOU CAN HELP GET BODY ARMOR VESTS TO COMBAT SOLDIERS SPEEDILY by donating to the Temple Emanu-El Emergency Israeli Body Armor Fund. 100% of your donation will go directly to purchasing vests from the Tsahal Equipment Company, which has IDF approved Body Armor Vests being shipped directly to their business in Eilon Moreh. Israeli volunteers then deliver the Vests to battalions that have been supported financially from abroad. YOU CAN HELP SAFEGUARD David and Jonah Mayer’s comrades in arms. This money will procure Vests in the next 4 days.
Battalion 749, Company 4 and Bardelas Battalion, Vanguard Company Need Your Help
Battalion 749, Company 4
Battalion 749 is a combat engineering battalion of reservists. Combat engineers are always among the first soldiers to go into battle as they are responsible for finding and neutralizing explosives. In Gaza, they are the ones fighting in Hamas's tunnels.
Company 4, with 55 soldiers, has no body armor.
Bardelas (Cheeta) Battalion, Vanguard company
Bardelas is one of the border infantry battalions, in which men and women serve together. The border infantry units are responsible for guarding Israel's borders with Egypt and Jordan and also take part in operations within Israel.
Of the 40 soldiers from vanguard company currently on base, only 10 have ceramic plates for their vests.
One vest = $900
Two plates per vest = $625
(55 * 900) + (30 * 625) = $68,250
