Scotch Tasting in the Sukkah

7:30 PM - 9:00 PMTemple Emanu-El Sukkah (weather permitting, otherwise it will be indoors.)Eli Sullivan will take us through a guided tasting. Depending on the scotches purchased and their cost, there will be 5-6 different scotches to taste. Eli will give contextual information for each offering one by one, and we hold an interactive exploration of each spirit as we taste them sequentially. At the end of the night, the remainders from the bottles tasted will be raffled off.
There will be some snacks for cleansing palates.
Cost
Brotherhood members: $20.00 per person
Not a Brotherhood member: $25.00 per person
About Our Tasting Leader
Eli Sullivan is a professional brewer and aficionado of craft beer and spirits. He is the son of our Temple officer, Terry Sullivan. Currently, Eli is a graduate student at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, Scotland) studying for his MSc in Brewing and Distilling Science. He just submitted his thesis focusing on wild fermentation and spirit quality. He anticipates graduating this year.
