    A Weekend with Six13

    January 17-18, 2025

    • Friday Night: A spirited Shabbat B'Ma'agal service and dinner (register here) with Six13
    • Saturday Morning: Uplifting Shabbat services led by Six13
    • Saturday Evening: An inspiring Havdalah to close Shabbat
    • Saturday Night: An electrifying Six13 concert to cap off the weekend! (register here)

    Bread and Torah Weekend

    March 21-23, 2025

    • Rabbi Jonathan Rubenstein (bread maker) and Rabbi Linda Motzkin (parchment maker and scribal artist) will lead workshops and demonstrations over the weekend.

    Centennial Gala Celebration

    May 18, 2025

    • The capstone of the year-long celebration will feature a Gala Dinner, a live band performance by Rory and the Blueshounds, a silent auction, and guest speakers.

    Visioning 100 Art Exhibition

    November 16, 2024

    • Evening program with desserts. Exhibit will feature works in various media created by Temple Emanu-El members honoring the Centennial theme.

    Adult Education Weekend

    November 15-16, 2024

    • A weekend of learning with internationally recognized scholar of American Jewish History Dr. Jonathan Sarna. Includes Shabbat Chai service and dinner on Friday night and teaching opportunities over the weekend.

    Centennial Celebration Opening Weekend Events

    September 6-8, 2024

    • Friday night: Shabbat B’Ma’agal Service in the Round and Dinner provided by Veggie Fun.
    • Saturday morning: Services and Kiddush at the shul followed by dessert and treats at the Fel Family Home.
    • Sunday morning: Jewish Rhode Island Opening Lecture: Jewish Businesses in Rhode Island. Explore the history and impact of Jewish businesses and innovation in Rhode Island, highlighting prominent businesses and their contributions to the local retail, textile, food, and financial industries.
